The green seal
The five-year guarantee which applies to all Rolex models is coupled with the green seal, a symbol of its status as a Superlative Chronometer. This exclusive designation attests that the watch has successfully undergone a series of specific final controls by Rolex in its own laboratories according to its own criteria, in addition to the official COSC certification of its movement.
Rolex presentation box
Every Rolex is delivered in a beautiful green presentation box that is both protector and keeper of the jewel that nests inside it. As the presentation box is also a symbol of giving, it is important, if you are purchasing a gift, that the recipient’s first contact with their Rolex sets the stage for revealing what lies within.

Disco della lunetta Cerachrom
Lo Yacht-Master II presenta una lunetta girevole bidirezionale dotata di disco Cerachrom graduato 60 minuti in ceramica blu. La lavorazione della ceramica ad alta tecnologia usata da Rolex, particolarmente dura e praticamente antiscalfitture, necessita l’ausilio di appositi strumenti. I suoi colori rimangono inalterati nonostante l’effetto dei raggi ultravioletti e, per via della natura della sua composizione chimica, è inerte e a prova di corrosione. Su questo disco Cerachrom blu, le graduazioni e i numeri scavati sono colorati mediante deposito di platino o di oro giallo secondo un procedimento PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition). La prima mezz’ora della graduazione è riportata minuto per minuto. La lunetta in posizione neutra offre una lettura più chiara degli ultimi 30 secondi del conto alla rovescia, indicati dalla lancetta dei secondi cronografici al centro. La lunetta graduata, il cui bordo zigrinato offre una presa eccellente, permette inoltre a chi indossa l’orologio di leggere una durata, ad esempio il tempo di percorrenza tra due boe.
Quadrante bianco
La visualizzazione garantisce un’ottima leggibilità delle varie funzioni. Il quadrante è ricoperto di una lacca bianca inedita, opaca, che attenua i riflessi, ed esibisce gli indici applicati degli orologi appartenenti alla categoria Professionale. Il rehaut, dedicato alla funzione di conto alla rovescia, è posizionato sul quadrante con una precisione estrema, una caratteristica che ha dato origine a un deposito di brevetto. È graduato da 10 a 0 minuti e i mezzi minuti sono indicati sotto forma di triangoli.
Acciaio Oystersteel
Rolex utilizza per le casse dei suoi orologi l’acciaio Oystersteel. Sviluppato appositamente dal Marchio, l’acciaio Oystersteel appartiene alla famiglia degli acciai 904L, leghe generalmente impiegate nell’alta tecnologia, nell’industria aerospaziale e in quella chimica per garantire la massima resistenza alla corrosione. Estremamente resistente, l’acciaio Oystersteel vanta una particolare lucentezza una volta lucidato e conserva tutta la sua bellezza anche nelle condizioni più estreme.
