All new Rolex watches purchased from one of the brand’s Official Retail-ers come with a five-year international guarantee. When you buy a Rolex, the Official Retailer fills out and dates the Rolex guarantee card that certifies your watch’s authenticity.
The green seal
The five-year guarantee which applies to all Rolex models is coupled with the green seal, a symbol of its status as a Superlative Chronometer. This exclusive designation attests that the watch has successfully undergone a series of specific final controls by Rolex in its own laboratories according to its own criteria, in addition to the official COSC certification of its movement.
Rolex presentation box
Every Rolex is delivered in a beautiful green presentation box that is both protector and keeper of the jewel that nests inside it. As the presentation box is also a symbol of giving, it is important, if you are purchasing a gift, that the recipient’s first contact with their Rolex sets the stage for revealing what lies within.

L’Explorer II presenta una visualizzazione delle 24 ore, leggibile mediante una lancetta supplementare che gira intorno al quadrante in 24 ore invece delle normali 12, puntando a una lunetta fissa dove sono incisi gli indici delle 24 ore. Questa funzione permette a chi lo indossa di distinguere le ore del giorno da quelle della notte, una caratteristica essenziale per chi si avventura in ambienti dove l’oscurità regna sovrana, per esempio nelle profondità delle grotte, o dove il sole non tramonta mai, come nelle regioni polari in estate.

L’Explorer II indica la data e si differenzia per la lancetta supplementare 24 ore arancio e la lunetta fissa graduata 24 ore che permettono di distinguere inequivocabilmente le ore del giorno da quelle della notte. È diventato ben presto l’orologio di riferimento per speleologi, vulcanologi ed esploratori delle regioni polari. Gli indici delle ore e le lancette presentano la visualizzazione ad alta leggibilità Chromalight con materiale luminescente blu a lunga durata.
Oystersteel
Rolex utilizza per le casse dei suoi orologi l’acciaio Oystersteel. Sviluppato appositamente dal Marchio, l’acciaio Oystersteel appartiene alla famiglia degli acciai 904L, leghe generalmente impiegate nell’alta tecnologia, nell’industria aerospaziale e in quella chimica per garantire la massima resistenza alla corrosione. Estremamente resistente, l’acciaio Oystersteel vanta una particolare lucentezza una volta lucidato e conserva tutta la sua bellezza anche nelle condizioni più estreme.
