To ensure the precision and reliability of its timepieces, Rolex submits each watch after assembly to a stringent series of tests. All new Rolex watches purchased from one of the brand’s Official Retail-ers come with a five-year international guarantee. When you buy a Rolex, the Official Retailer fills out and dates the Rolex guarantee card that certifies your watch’s authenticity.
The green seal
The five-year guarantee which applies to all Rolex models is coupled with the green seal, a symbol of its status as a Superlative Chronometer. This exclusive designation attests that the watch has successfully undergone a series of specific final controls by Rolex in its own laboratories according to its own criteria, in addition to the official COSC certification of its movement.
Rolex presentation box
Every Rolex is delivered in a beautiful green presentation box that is both protector and keeper of the jewel that nests inside it. As the presentation box is also a symbol of giving, it is important, if you are purchasing a gift, that the recipient’s first contact with their Rolex sets the stage for revealing what lies within.

La lunetta in ceramica e l’indicazione luminescente
La lunetta girevole unidirezionale graduata 60 minuti del Deepsea Challenge permette di leggere i tempi di immersione e di decompressione con precisione e in assoluta sicurezza. È dotata di un disco Cerachrom nero brevettato e prodotto da Rolex in una ceramica praticamente antiscalfitture e inalterabile. La graduazione è rivestita di un sottile strato di platino mediante deposito PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition). Sul quadrante trovano spazio gli ampi indici delle ore e le lancette Chromalight riempiti di una sostanza luminescente a emissioni blu di lunga durata, per una leggibilità eccezionale anche al buio.
Il quadrante nero intenso
La visualizzazione luminescente Chromalight sul quadrante è un’innovazione che garantisce una visibilità maggiore in ambienti con scarsa luminosità, un aspetto essenziale per i subacquei. Le forme semplici degli indici – triangoli, tondi e rettangoli – e le ampie lancette delle ore e dei minuti assicurano una lettura istantanea e affidabile, per evitare qualsiasi rischio di confusione sott’acqua.
Titanio RLX
Il titanio RLX, una lega di titanio grado 5 selezionata da Rolex, si distingue per la sua leggerezza e la sua resistenza alle deformazioni e alla corrosione. L’orologio sperimentale sceso con James Cameron nella fossa delle Marianne, insensibile alla pressione presente negli abissi marini, era realizzato in acciaio 904L e, per via del suo peso, non poteva essere indossato al polso. Il ricorso al titanio RLX per la fabbricazione della cassa e del bracciale del Deepsea Challenge ha consentito di alleggerirlo e di ridurne il peso del 30% rispetto all’esemplare sperimentale di James Cameron. L’orologio presenta una satinatura particolarmente marcata sul bracciale e sull’insieme della cassa, fatta eccezione per le spallette di protezione della corona. Per sottolineare la sagoma delle anse, gli spigoli superiori sono stati smussati, poi lucidati.
