All new Rolex watches purchased from one of the brand’s Official Retail-ers come with a five-year international guarantee. When you buy a Rolex, the Official Retailer fills out and dates the Rolex guarantee card that certifies your watch’s authenticity.
The green seal
The five-year guarantee which applies to all Rolex models is coupled with the green seal, a symbol of its status as a Superlative Chronometer. This exclusive designation attests that the watch has successfully undergone a series of specific final controls by Rolex in its own laboratories according to its own criteria, in addition to the official COSC certification of its movement.
Rolex presentation box
Every Rolex is delivered in a beautiful green presentation box that is both protector and keeper of the jewel that nests inside it. As the presentation box is also a symbol of giving, it is important, if you are purchasing a gift, that the recipient’s first contact with their Rolex sets the stage for revealing what lies within.

La lunetta zigrinata è un tratto distintivo degli orologi Rolex. La lunetta zigrinata dell’Oyster aveva in origine una funzione: serviva ad avvitarla alla cassa, contribuendo così a garantire l’impermeabilità dell’orologio. La zigrinatura era, di conseguenza, l’esatta riproduzione di quella del fondello che, per le stesse ragioni, veniva avvitato alla cassa con degli appositi strumenti Rolex. La finitura soleil crea delicati riflessi di luce su molti quadranti della collezione Oyster Perpetual. Per ottenerla, si fa ricorso a sapienti tecniche di spazzolatura che producono lievi scanalature che si diramano dal centro del quadrante verso l’esterno. La luce si propaga uniformemente lungo ogni incisione, dando vita a un leggero, caratteristico bagliore che si sposta a seconda della posizione del polso. Una volta che la finitura soleil è stata completata, il colore del quadrante viene applicato usando la deposizione fisica da vapore o la galvanoplastica. Un sottile strato di vernice conferisce al quadrante il suo aspetto finale.
18 ct white gold
Disponendo di una fonderia propria, Rolex ha sviluppato un savoir-faire senza pari nella produzione delle migliori leghe in oro 18 ct. In funzione della proporzione di argento, rame, platino o palladio che viene aggiunta, è possibile ottenere diversi tipi di oro 18 ct: giallo, rosa o bianco.
