The green seal
The five-year guarantee which applies to all Rolex models is coupled with the green seal, a symbol of its status as a Superlative Chronometer. This exclusive designation attests that the watch has successfully undergone a series of specific final controls by Rolex in its own laboratories according to its own criteria, in addition to the official COSC certification of its movement.
Rolex presentation box
Every Rolex is delivered in a beautiful green presentation box that is both protector and keeper of the jewel that nests inside it. As the presentation box is also a symbol of giving, it is important, if you are purchasing a gift, that the recipient’s first contact with their Rolex sets the stage for revealing what lies within.

The tachymetric scale
Grazie alla lunetta su cui è scavata la scala tachimetrica, un elemento chiave della sua identità, questo modello è lo strumento perfetto per misurare la velocità media fino a 400 miglia o chilometri orari. Unione di alta tecnologia ed estetica di classe, la lunetta nera richiama quella del modello risalente al 1965, con disco nero in plexiglas. La lunetta Cerachrom monoblocco in ceramica hi-tech presenta numerosi vantaggi: la sua durezza la rende praticamente antiscalfitture, il suo colore rimane inalterato anche dopo l’esposizione ai raggi ultravioletti ed è resistente alla corrosione. A questa resistenza nel tempo si aggiunge la straordinaria leggibilità della scala tachimetrica, i cui numeri e graduazione sono ottenuti grazie al deposito, nella zona scavata, di un sottile strato di platino mediante una tecnica di deposizione fisica da vapore. La lunetta Cerachrom monoblocco garantisce da sola che il vetro sia impermeabile e ben mantenuto sulla carrure.

Questo modello presenta un quadrante bianco con contatori a cerchi concentrici, indici delle ore in applique e lancette in oro 18 ct con visualizzazione Chromalight, una sostanza luminescente ad alta leggibilità. Il quadrante consente al pilota di pianificare accuratamente i tempi del percorso e la tattica di guida.
Oystersteel
Rolex utilizza per le casse dei suoi orologi l’acciaio Oystersteel. Sviluppato appositamente dal Marchio, l’acciaio Oystersteel appartiene alla famiglia degli acciai 904L, leghe generalmente impiegate nell’alta tecnologia, nell’industria aerospaziale e in quella chimica per garantire la massima resistenza alla corrosione. Estremamente resistente, l’acciaio Oystersteel vanta una particolare lucentezza una volta lucidato e conserva tutta la sua bellezza anche nelle condizioni più estreme.
